About me

Hello! I am Jay, a radio communication engineer with a passion for all things related to radio communications, electronics, and wireless technologies.

I tinkered with electronics kits as a kid, dreaming that someday I would become a radio engineer – and about 10 years later, I did! 😉

As years have passed, I’ve had the opportunity to design and build a wide range of projects within the radio industry. And since the field is constantly evolving, I tried to stay ahead of the curve by reading as many tech books as possible, and experimenting with new technologies.

This website reflects my passion for continuous learning. Just like you, I try to learn something new each day, and I prefer to do that on my own, by reading books.

I searched for a “recommended radio books” list as I was growing up, but I couldn’t find any. So, I decided to create one 😃. If you are new to electronics, computer networks and radio communication, the books I’ve reviewed here should be of great help.

Star28 is the place where I share insights and recommendations on the books that have helped me become the tech specialist I am today.

Whether you’re a radio or network engineer, or you’re just starting your journey in the field, I promise you’ll find at least a few books that will help you learn more about radio, electronics, computer networks, wireless technologies and their applications.

Join me on this tech adventure! Explore the site, and if you’ve got any questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to let me know.
